Support for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program

 

Description:

Reliable, independent volunteers are needed to assist with trapping feral cats. Program days/times are typically Wednesday (day and evening), Thursday (early morning and evening) and Friday (afternoon). Duties would include assisting a WeSNiP staff member to set traps, refresh water and food in the traps and care for the cats in recovery following surgery. If you have an interest in learning about how to humanely address the feral cat issues in our community and being a part of the solution, then this opportunity may be for you!

Volunteer Qualifications:

– Must be able to lift and carry traps (about 15 lbs)

– Must have own vehicle (gas is reimbursed)

– Must have valid license and proof of insurance
